So if you thought Santa Ana winds were bad add those AND rain = total fail. Adding to the fails of vet school life, internet fail during epidemiology goes into the category of EPIC fails. Seriously I’m convinced they turned it off in order to help us pay attention. I PAY 28K a year, if I want to be on the internet while you are talking that is MY choice. If only I had my cord to tether to my iPhone it would be fantastic. Instead you are going to get the longest blog of my life while I try to tune out this lecture. So question if they succeeded in grabbing our attention by killing the internet ( or if it was from the tsunami weather storm we had then this should be a lesson learned) IT DOESN’T WORK. Instead of doing productive research on our computers like we normally do, or just entertaining ourselves, what are we doing, but a combination of paper airplanes, making flowers from paper, and some angry doodling if we were lucky enough to bring a pad of paper with us today that and we resorted back to passing notes in class since AIM and IM’s. So lesson learned school, if it’s a boring subject we’re still not going to pay attention, Lesson learned for me, I’m never leaving anywhere without an Ethernet cord and my iPod connector cord.
On a happy note – Taco Tuesdays are awesome. Only bad thing about them is that it makes me realize its ONLY Tuesday in our never ending week. This weekend is just set for awesomeness! No exams next week Yay! Grad school mixer Friday and then hitting up The Grad on Saturday. Then next weekend is the Tulare tour which is just destined for greatness.
So the saga of no internet continues. I think there are a few of us who just might on insane. Thankfully P-chem is next where we actually need and do pay attention. I really wonders if he thinks we are truly paying attention to him????? And now we get an announcement that our anatomy grades are up (yay 93% average, that’s when you know you are in vet school when the class average is in the A range) yet they say its available but those with internet can’t find it anywhere.
